Amy Benner is a PhD Candidate whose research integrates work on campaign finance, political psychology, and barriers to women’s representation. She is the  current Director of Research for Susan A. MacManus, Distinguished Professor (Emerita), University of South Florida. Amy previously held roles as PLEN Coordinator at Douglass Residential College and Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for American Women in Politics, Eagleton Institute of Politics, Rutgers University.  Prior to Rutgers, she received a B.A. in Political Science and Criminology with a minor in History from the University of South Florida (Tampa)
