The Department of Political Science is thrilled to welcome Dr. Perry Carter as Assistant Professor! Professor Carter's research sits at the intersection of international relations and comparative politics, examining how transnational phenomena such as migration and conflict manifest at the domestic level. Prior to joining Rutgers, Prof. Carter was a postdoctoral research associate at New York University Abu Dhabi. He received his undergraduate degree from University of Canterbury (New Zealand) and Ph.D. from Princeton University.
