• Nicoletta Concord

Nicoletta Concord is a 2025 graduate of the Master's Program in Political Science - United Nations and Global Policy Studies. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Political Science from Rutgers University-NB, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2024. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and has received several awards and high honors, including the Dr. John C. Leggett Award and the Paul Robeson Scholar honor. 

Nicoletta’s academic interests include humanitarian work, women’s rights, maternal and infant health, and gender equality. Her undergraduate thesis explored the cultural and familial factors that influence women’s choices to pursue midwifery and birth center care. As a graduate student, she has presented her research on gender-based violence in global politics. 

In addition to her academic work, Nicoletta served as a Student Ambassador for the M.A. program, where she represented the department at various outreach events engaging prospective students. In this role, she helped promote the program’s mission of preparing future leaders to address global issues. Nicoletta currently works as the Administrative Coordinator for the Dean’s Office at the Rutgers University–Newark School of Arts and Sciences. As the first point of contact for the office, she oversees daily operations, supports academic leadership and committees, and contributes to process improvements and technology integration.
