BIO:
During his time at Rutgers, Robert engaged in advanced research on issues such as U.S.–Philippines foreign policy and the South China Sea dispute, exploring pathways to strengthen international cooperation under UNCLOS and promote regional stability. His work reflects a strong commitment to understanding complex global challenges through both policy and legal perspectives.
Beyond academics, Robert gained valuable professional experience as a Unit Administrator within Rutgers’ Division of Student Affairs, where he supported campus initiatives, managed operations, and contributed to student engagement efforts. His involvement in cultural and student-centered programming further deepened his dedication to community building and advocacy.
A memorable aspect of Robert’s graduate experience was participating in the “UN Reimagined for the 21st Century” research program, where he developed policy recommendations aimed at strengthening the United Nations’ institutional effectiveness in addressing global issues.
Robert has also cultivated strong language and cross-cultural communication skills, including:

Following graduation, Robert plans to pursue a Juris Doctor (JD) with the goal of working in international law and contributing to the United Nations system. He aspires to build a career that advances diplomacy, justice, and global cooperation.
