BIO:
My Huynh is currently an undergraduate student in her last year enrolled in the Accelerated M.A./B.A. program at Rutgers University Department of Political Science's United Nations and Global Policy Studies program. Throughout the program, she plans to concentrate on conflict resolution, counter-terrorism, and cybersecurity. She has an interest in East Asian culture and plans to potentially minor in East Asian affairs while learning Chinese and Korean.
My has spent her summer working as a Constituent Intern for Congressman in NYC and has aspirations to continue working for grassroots. She is also a freelance social media manager for small businesses. Her future goal is to be a Foreign Service Officer working on Conflict Resolution, which she is looking forward to.
My is passionate about conflict resolutions and public diplomacy because she believes reform begins with effective communication and negotiations. In her free time, she is learning Chinese and Korean while improving her Vietnamese as she teaches English to her cousins back home in Vietnam. Her hobbies also include playing badminton, reading novels, and trying new restaurants in the city.
