Evelina Sarapi is a Master of Arts candidate in the United Nations and Global Policy Studies (UNMA) program. Evelina is currently also working as a Graduate Assistant in the UNMA program, alongside Dr. Roland Rich, drafting monthly newsletter reports focused on the United Nations. Before the UNMA program, Evelina worked as an Immigration Paralegal at Murthy Law Firm, where she assisted clients every day with their visa processes. Through her academic and professional experience, Evelina has been able to use her experience and knowledge on the topics of migration, human rights, and humanitarian affairs during her time in the UNMA program while expanding her interest in international relations.
Evelina graduated from Towson University in 2022, with her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science, with a minor in Spanish. During her undergraduate studies career, Evelina also founded the "Students Helping Refugees" organization, where she was able to raise awareness regarding the topic of migration in her community.
Evelina is passionate about issues such as immigration, human rights, and democratic values, and through her career, seeks to understand and address the disparities in the international community. Evelina is originally from Athens, Greece and is fluent in Greek and English. She also has some knowledge of Spanish and Arabic. During her downtime, Evelina enjoys baking, listening to music, and traveling to new places.
