  • Amy J. Higer holds a Masters' Degree in International Affairs from the School of International Service at American University, and a Ph.D. in Politics from Brandeis University. She is currently an adjunct faculty member at Rutgers in the Division of Global Affairs, Newark and in the Political Science Department, New Brunswick, and has also taught at CUNY, NYU, Seton Hall and Vassar College. Her areas of expertise are international organizations, transnational social movements, international population policy and international relations theory.
