Quinnie Collins is an Eagleton Graduate Fellow for the 2023-2024 academic year. Before that, Quinnie interned at the office of Assemblyman Sterley Stanley office as His Legislative Aid.
Through this experience, she connected with Assemblywoman Sadaf Jaffer's legislative staff, Riya: who now works on the outreach team at the Governor's office.
Riya reached out to Quinnie to inform her that Governor Phil Murphy and First Lady Tammy Murphy were pleased to invite her and her daughter to a Women's History Month Celebration at Drumthwacket on Thursday, March 14th, 2024.
At the event, Quinnie had the opportunity to meet with the Governor, and Commissioner Lisa Asare, who now is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the New Jersey Maternal and Infant Health Innovation Authority.
