Students on the Move

Themistoklis (Themis) Zanidis currently works (Spring 2023 and Summer 2023 semesters) as an intern within the Humanitarian Development Peace Nexus (HDP Nexus) at the UN Development Coordination Office. In this role he advances humanitarian-development-peace collaboration, “the nexus”, by supporting the roll-out and development of a community of practice among Resident Coordinators’ Offices in fragile settings and supporting the work of the UN Development Coordination Office (DCO) with the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and the UN Department of Political and Peace Affairs (DPPA). Additionally, he advances inclusion of people on the move in development work, including through the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Frameworks and other support for Resident Coordinators (RCs), RC Offices (RCOs) and UN Country Teams (UNCTs).
