Rebecca Roberts is a first-year UNMA student who has served in the NJ National Guard for over 10 years. Rebecca started out enlisted in the Air Force as a transportation specialist and was later commissioned with the Army as an Infantry Platoon Leader. She was one of the first women in the state to do so. In 2019, she deployed to Djibouti where she was in charge of 40 soldiers. Currently, she serves with the NJ State Officer Candidate School in Sea Girt, NJ as a platoon training officer. She is responsible for teaching, training, and mentoring future Army leaders. Rebecca hopes to take her military experience to work in a civilian capacity in human rights and conflict resolution.
