Fatuma Musse has worked with Sadie Nash Leadership Organization as an Ella fellow in 2019-2020 and as a Summer Institute Dean in 2021. During her time in Sadie Nash, she learned to implement gender studies theories in real life as well as gender equality and advocacy for young Black girls. Fatuma currently works as a 2nd Committee Intern in the United Nations General Assembly with the Permanent Mission of Malta. Her work includes undertaking general and specific research relevant to the 2nd committee work, assisting in the drafting of speeches for the Permanent Representative of Malta, attending and reporting on high-level meetings in the GA, side events in other United Nations bodies, stakeholder meetings, and events.
