Students on the Move

Mona Gaballa, has just begun her internship (2019) at the League of Arab States with the United Nations. She is an Advisor Intern which gives her the unique opportunity to attend Security Council meetings, General Assembly meetings, and other relevant meetings/events. Mona has been appointed to the Third Committee, which addresses Social, Humanitarian, and Cultural Issues. Currently, she is preparing for the 57th Session of the Commission for Social Development which is to convene in February 2019 and the 63rd Session of the Commission on the Status on Women which is to convene in March 2019. On her very first week, Mona was able to coordinate and attend a lunch that celebrated the State of Palestine’s appointment of the Chairmanship of the Group of 77 (G77).
