At the ILO, Camilla worked on policy documents that highlight illustrative practices of women’s economic empowerment in G7 and EU nations. She conducted research on international, regional, national, and private sector standards that are used to empower women regarding equal pay, protection from violence and harassment, work-life balance, business and management, and the future of work. Camilla was also able to attend General Assembly meetings and events. She has acted as an external collaborator through April 2020, drafting a similar report on women’s economic empowerment initiatives in supply chains.Camilla was so thankful for this experience, as has been able to see how a tripartite UN agency interacts with a myriad of groups and because she could contribute to such a significant project!
