BIO:

Janine Kuroczik is a graduate exchange student from the University of Konstanz. She is pursuing a Master of Arts Double Degree offered by the United Nations and Global Policy Studies (UNMA) program in cooperation with the department of Political Science and Public Administration at University of Konstanz. In Konstanz, she is focusing on International Relations and European Integration. She is especially interested in the topics United Nations Peacekeeping, the impact of the Internet on politics and mass mobilization in autocratic regimes. Moreover, she is interested in quantitative research methods. Janine graduated with a BA in Political Science from the University of Mannheim. During her undergraduate studies, she spent a semester at the California State University, Chico. She was a visiting student during her graduate studies at the University of Zurich and Princeton University.

During her bachelor’s studies, Janine completed a six-month long internship at the European Office of the region of Stuttgart in Brussels where she gained experience in European Union affairs. Janine was a student assistant at the Department of Political Science at the University of Konstanz. After graduating, she seeking to work for an international organization or a government agency.

Janine is actively engaging in the European Youth Association AEGEE. She is passionate about European cohesion, traveling, learning about other cultures and languages. Janine speaks German, English and French.
