Michael is a master’s degree candidate in the United Nations and Global Policy Studies (UNMA) program at Rutgers University. His main academic focuses are conflict resolution, military and diplomatic polices, and civil-military relations.
Previously, he graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Political Science (Class of 2021). He was also a member of Phi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society. While an undergraduate, Michael worked as a research assistant, focusing on civil-military relations and their effects on democratic regression. As a graduate student, he was also a project manager for research on the voting habits of veterans in Congress. Prior to his studies, Michael served as an artillery scout-observer in the United States Marine Corps.
Following graduation, Michael is interested in a career in the Defense Intelligence Agency, Diplomatic Security Service, or a commission as a Regular Army officer. Throughout his studies, he has still found time to indulge his hobbies, chief among them cooking, film photography, and more recently autocross.
