Fatuma Musse is a master’s candidate in the Rutgers United Nations and Global Policy program. Being her fourth semester here, Fatuma entered the program in Spring 2020 as an undergraduate junior. She recently graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Women’s Gender Studies. She is currently working as a 2nd committee intern in the United Nations with the Permanent Mission of Malta. Fatuma’s focus in the UNMA program is International Law, Human Rights, and Gender Equality. She wants to pursue work as a diplomatic/ global policy advisor. Fatuma aims to eventually attend Law school and work as a human rights lawyer. Her favorite topic to discuss is globalization, and her favorite author is Stephen M. Walt.
