Madina Mamyrbekova joined the UNMA program here at Rutgers University in the Spring 2021. Prior to that, Madina received her Bachelor's degree from the Kazakh National University, majoring in International Relations and minoring in Regional Studies. Her work experience includes interning at the International Rescue Committee, Department of Resettlement in New York City and dealing directly with Afghan refugees who need assistance in resettlement. Madina is fluent in Russian, Kazakh and Chinese. She looks to make a difference in the global arena and focusing on human rights and development.
