Global Humanitarian Policy Forum 2020

Over the past nine years, the Global Humanitarian Policy Forum (GHPF) has been at the forefront of shaping the international humanitarian and development community's policy agenda. This year, UNOCHA is partnering with the UN Foundation to examine the COVID-19 pandemic's profound impact on the current global landscape, introducing new and exacerbating existing trends and challenges. This year's GHPF will analyze these emerging global trends and their implications for the future of humanitarian action.

The GHPF will open with a high-level panel bringing together a diverse set of leaders from different backgrounds and sectors who will share their perspectives on the current global landscape, marked by severe and intersecting health, geo-political, and socio-economic challenges. The forum will continue with a set of three interactive thematic discussions covering specific humanitarian focus areas, also featuring an interactive question and answer discussion.
