Protest Against Authoritariansim: Comparing Poland (1980) and Belarus (2020)

You are invited to a virtual even in which Dr. Tatsiana Kulakevich and Dr. Jan Kubik will discuss the current protest wave in Belarus and try to understand its features and dynamics by comparing them to the Solidarity movement in Poland that has just celebrated the 40th anniversary of its success.  

The event, that will take place on Monday, September 14 at 12:00 PM, is a part of Dr. Kubik's graduate course on Protest Politics and Social Movements and a course Tatsiana teaches at the University of South Florida.
