Amy has earned a B.A. in Criminology and Political Science as well as a minor in History from the University of South Florida in Tampa. Her research has concentrated on women and campaign finance, specifically motivations and experiences with women who contribute to political entities. She also has contributed to the USF Nielsen Sunshine State Survey, a public policy survey which provides trend-line data as well as feedback on newly emerging issues for lawmakers and leaders within the state of Florida. At Rutgers, she plans on pursuing study on gender, campaign finance, voting behavior, campaigns and elections, political participation, and representation in American politics.
