he Department of Political Science and the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University seek a scholar in American politics, with interests in applied politics, for a tenured or tenure-track appointment. The joint appointment will be half-time in the Department of Political Science and half-time in the Eagleton Institute. Preferred areas of research include: American political institutions, polling and survey research, and/or state politics. The Politics of Race, Ethnicity and/or Gender
The Rutgers University Department of Political Science is searching for a senior scholar whose substantive work addresses questions about the politics of race, ethnicity and/or gender. The department is particularly interested in work that engages questions about identity and inequality; political behavior and institutions; security, justice and rights; political economy of globalization and democracy; or intersectionality within the context of the politics of gender, race, and ethnicity. We welcome applications from scholars in all subfields of political science and are open to scholarship that utilizes a variety of methodological approaches. The Department has an interest in scholarship related to theories of globalization and the challenges of democratic politics.
