American Government and Politics
he Department of Political Science and the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University seek a scholar in American politics, with interests in applied politics,
for a tenured or tenure-track appointment. The joint appointment will be half-time in the Department of Political Science and half-time in the Eagleton Institute.
Preferred areas of research include: American political institutions, polling and survey research, and/or state politics. Rank is open, with preference for an associate

The Politics of Race, Ethnicity and/or Gender
The Rutgers University Department of Political Science is searching for a senior scholar whose substantive work addresses questions about the politics of race, ethnicity
and/or gender. The department is particularly interested in work that engages questions about identity and inequality; political behavior and institutions; security,
justice and rights; political economy of globalization and democracy; or intersectionality within the context of the politics of gender, race, and ethnicity. We welcome
applications from scholars in all subfields of political science and are open to scholarship that utilizes a variety of methodological approaches. The Department has an
interest in scholarship related to theories of globalization and the challenges of democratic politics. This is an academic year position, at the rank of full professor
